We honour the power and beauty of pregnancy and birth, and our Childbirth Preparation Workshops are different because they are holistic. Holistic childbirth preparation means preparing the body, the mind and the heart. We work through a variety of multi-sensory activities to tap into your body-mind wisdom. We know that learning is more than just accumulating information; it is about practice and envisioning what you want to be real. Nowadays, parents-to-be have an overwhelming amount of information about childbirth. Unfortunately, that information is targeted at the left side of the brain -the logical, analytical and rational. However, we are now rediscovering that giving birth has more to do with turning off that left side and allowing the right side -the instinctive, intuitive, and emotional- to guide us through this amazing journey.
