Suitable from 30 weeks pregnant. Block book 4-6 classes or pay as you go. Yoga postures, breathing & relaxation for late pregnancy plus lots of useful advice and tips on how to get the most from your pregnancy and birthing journey. Each week we cover a specific topic - i.e. understanding & managing the different stages of labour, understanding & preparing your pelvis, Optimal Foetal Positioning etc. The aim of these classes is to instil you with confidence in your ability to give birth to your baby in the best way possible for you both. There is always time for discussion & a deep relaxation!
** Birth Preparation for Couples with Lon and Indira - half day workshop
Come and celebrate your journey towards the birth of your baby. This half day workshop is designed for mothers & fathers-to-be in the last trimester of pregnancy to focus on this incredibly special event in your lives. Set in small groups to provide a comfortable and nurturing environment, it offers lots of practical, physical and emotional resources to help you both manage confidently your journey through labour, birth and beyond. Topics covered include: basic physiology of birth, the labyrinth of labour and its different stages, the partner's role in labour, breathing and relaxation techniques, movements for labour and positions for birthing, natural pain relief - water & massage, visualisation and centering practices for birth and as new parents, tips and advice for the first few weeks - feeding/sleeping. There will be time for questions and birth stories to inspire you.
